Murang’a Seal had travelled to Tanzania on Friday and started their pre-season training programme before receiving an invitation to participate in the six-team competition featuring Namungo FC, Mashujaa FC, Fountain Gate FC, Dodoma Jiji FC and RDS FC.

“Due to challenges affecting the tournament preparations, we have made the decision not to participate in the Tanzanite Pre-Season Tournament,” the club said.

The decision comes shortly after Seal suffered a 2-0 defeat to Fountain Gate in a friendly match as they continue fine-tuning the squad ahead of the new FKF Premier League season.
