Bidco United secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Nairobi United in a 2025/26 SportPesa League match staged on Monday afternoon at the Sportpesa Arena in Murang’a.
The win marks Bidco’s second win in the league while handing FKF Premier League debutants, Nairobi United, their first loss. The all important goal of the match was bagged by Herman Ngala who scored in the second minute after a neat interplay on the left wing with Victor Kunyili.

Naibois grew into the game through a series of attacks and possessions, creating a major scare for the hosts around the half-hour mark. Frank Ouya and Shami Mwinyi whipped dangerous crosses into the box that found Isaac Omweri, but his shots sailed wide off the target. Despite Naibois’s efforts to mount a comeback before the interval, Antony Akhulia’s squad stood firm to ensure Bidco headeded to the break with their lead intact.
The second half resumed with Nicholas Muyoti’s side increasing their tempo and urgency, getting an early chance with Frank Ouya notably heading an Ovella cross wide in the 48th minute. Despite Naibois’ attempts to change the game with substitutions, they could not find a breakthrough.
The match concluded with Nairobi United suffering their first defeat of their top-tier campaign, while Bidco United extended their 100% start to the season. The result ensures Bidco rises to fourth place in the table with six points, while Nairobi United sits in 13th with three points as the league breaks for the FIFA international break.
