Tottenham Hotspur are the 2025 UEFA Europa League Champions following their 1-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday night in Bilbao.
Spurs, just like United, have had a torrid league season where they are currently occupying 17th spot, just a position and a point below United who had also hoped to finish the season with a silverware.

Brennan Johnson’s scrappy goal at the stroke of half time proved to be decisive in a game that was largely dominated by the Ruben Amorim’s side. The North London outfit defended resolutely, a magnificent goal line clearance from Micky van de Ven played a big part.
The win didn’t only end their 17-year wait for a major trophy but saw Spurs qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League with United now forced to go back to the drawing board and prepare for next season where they are expected to make major signings.
