FKF Premier League giants AFC Leopards have confirmed the signing of striker Julius Masaba from rivals Kariobangi Sharks.
Masaba joins the den on a two-year deal and becomes the latest addition to the team after the club confirmed that keeper Levis Opiyo had extended his stay at the club.

“AFC Leopards is pleased to announce the signing of Julius Masaba from FKF-PL side Kariobangi (Sharks),” Leopards said in a statement. “The former Ligi Ndogo and Black Stars forward join us on a 2-year contract.”
On his side, Masaba said his urge to play for the club’s senior team after representing them in the youth team was too strong to turn down.
“I once played for the AFC Leopards Under 20 in 2013, which made me want to come back to the senior side. My late dad was a big fan of the club, and it was a dream come true for me. I feel at home,” he said during his unveiling on Wednesday at the club’s end-of-the-season gala.
Masaba will now be fighting for a starting place with Victor Omune and Arthur Gitego who are the other strikers fighting for a start ahead of their league opener against newbies Mathare United this weekend.
