With the 2024/25 season coming to an end in most league across the world, some players are already looking to make moves in the summer transfer window.
This group will include some Harambee Stars players whose contracts with their current teams are set to end on the last day of June 2025.

In this lot is midfielder Anthony Akumu and striker Masud Juma with both having presented Kheybar Khorramabad and Esteghlal respectively. Akumu has featured eight times for his side since joining them in July 2024 with Juma’s outing at his club having been plagued by injuries; the former Kariobangi Sharks man managing 11 games and scoring 2 goals in the process.
Other Kenyan players who won’t be in their current teams include midfielder Richard Odada whose short loan stint at OFK Beograd is set to end next month as he is expected to return to his parent club Dundee United in Scotland.
The midfielder’s future has been a subject of speculation with Dundee United coach having expressed his desire to talk with the player when he returns for preseason about his future. The player has recently moved in with his fiancé and there are talks that he might look for a permanent move back to Serbia.
Another player who is set to return to his parent club is winger Adam Wilson who helped New Saints to the Welsh Premiership title this season. The player featured in 26 games for his side scoring nine goals in the process but will have to return to parent club Bradford City who has since earned promotion to League One (England’s third tier).
Already captain Michael Olunga has confirmed that he will be leaving Al Duhail with the new development stating that he is a target for Duhail rivals Al Arabi in the same league.
Of the players to leave is defender Johnston Omurwa who will be leaving Kapaz PFK without featuring for them in any game. Midfielder Eric Johanna Omondi will be looking for a new club too with UTA Arad failing to renew his deal.
