The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committees (LOCs) of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda have concluded a commercial roadshow ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Held across the three host countries from September 14 to 18, the roadshow brought together stakeholders from banking, aviation, telecommunications, tourism, technology, trade and other sectors.

The engagements showcased the commercial opportunities presented by AFCON 2027, with CAF highlighting the tournament’s reach and potential to connect African and global brands with one of the continent’s biggest sporting events.
The roadshow also featured a dedicated Deal Room, where CAF held one-on-one meetings with companies interested in securing commercial partnerships across the three host nations.
CAF said opportunities will extend beyond the tournament itself, allowing partners to leverage marketing campaigns and activations before, during and after the month-long competition.
The growing commercial value of AFCON was underlined by the 2025 edition in Morocco, which recorded a 95 percent increase in commercial revenues, reached a cumulative television audience of 3.2 billion and attracted a record 23 sponsorship partners.
The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 will be staged across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027, with the tournament expected to provide significant commercial opportunities for businesses in the region.
