Kenya’s Junior Starlets will face Sporting Club Casablanca on Sunday, October 11, as they step up preparations for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
Pepeta can confirm that the Mildred Cheche-coached side will then take on Ghana on Tuesday, October 13, with a possible third friendly match depending on how the team performs in the opening two encounters.

The friendlies will offer Kenya an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the global tournament, where they are set to make their second appearance.
Junior Starlets were initially scheduled to hold a two-week high-performance training camp in Spain, where they had lined up matches against Australia and Spanish clubs Real Betis and Cadiz.
However, visa processing delays forced the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to abandon the planned camp and reorganise the team’s preparations.
The squad subsequently departed for Morocco early on Thursday, October 8, to allow the players time to acclimatise and arrange alternative friendly matches before the tournament begins.
Kenya will begin their Group E campaign against China on October 19 before facing the United States and Samoa in their remaining group matches.
