The Kenya Under 20 team has found themselves in Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations Under 20 Qualifiers, CECAFA region.
The draw was conducted on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where the tournament will take place from October 6-20, 2024.

The Salim Babu-coached side will be up against hosts Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan and Djibouti. Defending CECAFA champions Uganda will compete in Group B alongside last edition’s finalists South Sudan, Burundi, and Ethiopia.
The tournament will be played across three venues including Azam Complex, KMC Stadium and the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium.
The top two teams from each group will automatically advance to the semi-finals with the finalists earning the honour of representing the CECAFA region at the AFCON U-20 tournament next year.
