Thomas Omolle is hoping for more goals after netting his first goal against Mara Sugar FC last week.

Tusker FC winger Thomas Omolle hopes that his first goal of the season against Mara Sugar FC last week will spur his campaign.

The youngster bagged the solo goal to earn his side all the three points in Awendo in the club’s last game and believe that he now has confidence to add to his tally of goals and assists this season.

“It was a huge delight to score and help the team win. I have been working hard to get that goal and getting it finally is a massive boost for me in terms of confidence. This season my target was to add goals and assists into my game. Last season, I didn’t record as much and I have been ambitious to try and improve,” Omolle is quoted by the club’s portal.

“As a forward, you are measured by either the goals you score or the assists you give. I hope to keep improving, keep scoring and keep assisting because that is what the team needs me for. Of course I still have lots to improve on and I am to ensure that I deliver more.”

Omole who joined the brewers from Vihiga Bullets in July 2024 will hope he can replicate the outing he had in the club’s last game starting with their next league game against Ulinzi Stars as they work on closing the gap between them and the leading teams.

With 11 games gone, Tusker are placed 6th on the Sportpesa League table with 15 points, just four points below leaders Gor Mahia who have played two games less.
