Coach Cheche Names Provisional Squad as Junior Starlets Eye Uganda Test in U17 World Cup Qualifiers

Junior Starlets Head Coach Mildred Cheche has named her provisional squad for the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

Fresh from a 7-1 aggregate victory over Namibia in the previous round, Kenya heads into the next phase with confidence and continuity.

The squad largely retains the core group of players who delivered in that dominant performance, affirming the technical bench’s trust in a unit that has already shown cohesion.

The two-legged tie against Uganda will begin on May 22, 2026, at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba with the return leg set for Nyayo National Stadium on May 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm.
