The Sportpesa League continues for another week with players fighting for the golden boot hoping to add to their tally in round 13.
The scoring output has a grim reading as five players are tied on a paltry four goals after 12 rounds with many fans questioning the reason why strikers haven’t been ruthless so far this season.

With Moses Shummah having left in the off season, the league will have a new golden boot winner with the current frontrunners being Erick Kapaito, Ellie Asieche, Felix Oluoch, Hansel Ochieng and Paul Okoth.
Of the five, Kapaito remains the only player to have won the golden boot before but veterans like Asieche will be hoping they can be lucky this season having served the league diligently over the years and started the season in a good fashion.
Youngster Paul Okoth on the other hand will be hoping that he can carry his brilliant outing in November where he scored three goals in five games. The same thoughts should be on Hansel Ochieng’s mind having had a nomination in the player of the month segment after helping himself to three goals in the same period.
