Egypt produced the biggest result of Tuesday’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027 qualifiers, thrashing South Sudan 5-0 in Juba as Morocco and Senegal also secured victories.
Egypt, held to a goalless draw by Angola in their opener, took the lead through Mostafa Zico in the 36th minute. Omar Marmoush then scored twice after the break, with Ibrahim Adel and Hamza Abdelkarim completing the rout.

Morocco maintained their perfect start with a 2-0 victory over Lesotho. Brahim Diaz opened the scoring just before half-time before Azzedine Ounahi added a second in the 82nd minute.
Senegal claimed their first win under Patrick Vieira, edging Ethiopia 1-0 through Ibrahim Mbaye’s 11th-minute strike. The result moved Senegal to four points from two matches.
Algeria, meanwhile, fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 away to Burundi. An own goal from Farès Chaïbi and Jean Girumugisha put Burundi ahead before Mohamed El Amine Belloumi and Adil Boulbina completed Algeria’s comeback.
