Posta Rangers strengthened their fight against relegation after securing a vital 3-0 victory over already relegated Sofapaka in an FKF Premier League clash played at the Kasarani Annex on Monday, May 11 2026.

Fully aware of the importance of the fixture, Posta Rangers approached the match with urgency and dominated large spells against a Sofapaka side already condemned to relegation. Their attacking intent and defensive discipline paid off as they comfortably secured all three points to keep their hopes of survival alive.
Despite the victory, Rangers are still not completely safe with three matches remaining before the end of the campaign. The relegation battle remains tense, with teams such as Kariobangi Sharks, Ulinzi Stars, Bidco United and even Mathare United still looking over their shoulders heading into the final stretch of the season.
Posta Rangers now face a difficult run of fixtures against Nairobi United, KCB and Ulinzi Stars, matches that could ultimately determine whether they remain in the top flight next season.
For Sofapaka, whose relegation has already been confirmed, attention will now turn to finishing the season strongly in their remaining fixtures against KCB, Shabana and Kariobangi Sharks.
