Job Ochieng continued his impressive form in Spain after scoring in Real Sociedad B’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over Huesca on Monday night in the Segunda Division.
Lander Astiazaran opened the scoring in the 27th minute after linking up well with Ibai Aguirre before Ochieng doubled the visitors’ advantage 11 minutes later from an Astiazaran assist.

Sociedad were later reduced to 10 men following Mikel Rodriguez’s dismissal in the second half, forcing them to dig deep defensively. Ochieng was substituted shortly after his goal as the visitors looked to protect their lead.
Huesca grabbed a late consolation through Jordi Escobar in stoppage time, but Sociedad held firm to secure all three points and move up to 16th place with 45 points from 39 matches.

Elsewhere in England, Hull City sealed their place in the Championship play-off final after defeating Millwall 2-0 on aggregate in a tense semi-final clash.
With the win, Harambee Stars prospects Eliot Matazo and Sammy Henia-Kamau are now edging closer to the dream of playing in the English Premier League following Hull City’s latest achievement.
Belgian-born Matazo, who is eligible to represent Kenya, is currently recovering from a ruptured ACL injury while Kamauhas been rising through the club ranks with the duo now just a game away from the English top flight.

Meanwhile, in Morocco, Johnstone Omurwa featured for Kawkab Marrakech in their 2-1 defeat to Yacoub El Mansour. The center back played 60 minutes and received a yellow card as his side fell short despite pulling one goal back late in the contest.
