The Sportpesa League have announced the nominees for the player and coach of the month awards for the month of November.
In the coaches’ category, Ulinzi Stars new man Stephen Ochola leads the list having seen his team score six goals, concede four and have a 40%-win percentage.

Going up against Ochola in the category is Shabana FC head coach Peter Okidi and Dusan Stojanovic of Kenya Police FC. Okidi’s Shabana defensive ability saw them concede just one goal in the month where they won half of their games.
Stojanovic has the highest win percentage of the three nominees (57%) but hasn’t been good defensively with his team conceding 6 goals while scoring 7 goals.

In the Players category, it will be a tight race between Hansel Ochieng (APS Bomet), Paul Okoth (Ulinzi Stars), Stephen Ochieng (Shabana FC) and Paul Ngugi (Muranga Seals).
Hansel is among the favourites to win the award having scored three goals and provided two assists in four games. The same number of goals were scored by Paul Okoth who added one assist to his name in the five games he played in the month.
For their defensive ability, goalkeeper Stephen Ochieng of Shabana kept 3 clean sheets in four games in the month of November with defender Ngungi making 43 clearances and 10 interceptions in the five games he played for Seals last month.
