Kenya International Clarke Oduor (left) Returns to Bradford After Grimsby Loan Spell Ends

Kenya international Clarke Oduor is set to return to Bradford City after Grimsby Town confirmed the end of his loan spell following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

The versatile midfielder was among four players whose temporary stays at Blundell Park officially came to an end, with Grimsby announcing their retained and released list ahead of the new campaign.

Oduor joined the Mariners on loan during the season and went on to play a role in the club’s campaign where they were eliminated from the League Two promotion playoffs in the semifinals, losing 4-3 on aggregate to Salford City.

The player who has been called up to the latest Harambee Stars team made 23 appearances the entire season and is already being linked with a move away from Bradford with several teams said to be interested in his services.

In a statement released after the season concluded, Grimsby thanked Oduor alongside fellow loanees Jackson Smith, Andy Cook and Tyrell Sellars-Fleming for their contribution during the campaign.

“Everyone at Grimsby Town Football Club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to all the Mariners who played a part this season for their commitment, professionalism and contribution during their time at Blundell Park,” read part of the statement.

Oduor will now head back to Bradford City, where his future ahead of the 2026/27 season is expected to be assessed by the club’s technical bench.
